Welcome to East Cornwall Riding Club website 
for a full range of Equestrian activities, schedules, dates and links, 
everything for the horse rider in East Cornwall.

East Cornwall Riding Club was formed in 1971 and is affiliated to the British Riding Clubs
as part of the British Horse Society we cater for members over 11 years of age.

The club has approximately 140 members and its main aim it to 
promote and encourage riding as a recreational sport and to promote good fellowship amongst riders.

During the summer (April – September) the club puts on a variety of events 
at its base field at Cutparrett in East Cornwall.  
The events include showjumping, dressage, showing and Instruction 
with experienced and professional instructors. 
We also utilise the excellent facilities at Pontispool and Stockland Lovell 
to put on camps where horse and rider can experience a holiday away together.

In the winter we hold showjumping and dressage competitions 
as well as instruction at the Duchy college in Callington 
and in December we hold our annual dinner dance.

The club actively supports Area 19 of the British Riding Club organisation 
by sending teams to the Riding Club Qualifiers competing against other Clubs in Area 19 
in the hope of sending teams to the British Riding Club National Championships. 
 We are a friendly club that encourages all abilities 
and we try to ensure that everyone who attends our events have a good safe time.
